I served on the Board of Chosen Freeholders from 2011 to 2013 and was the Freeholder Chairman (2012) as a proud Republican in Bergen County, NJ. In New Jersey, the Boards of Chosen Freeholders are the county legislatures in each of our great state's 21 counties. I chaired the Freeholder budget & finance committee in 2011 & 2012. For the first time in two decades, the tax levy for Bergen County residents was actually reduced by taking a business approach to the government budgeting process. As a Freeholder, I also served as liaison to the African American Community. Also worked very closely with all communities promoting the ideal of business development, job growth, smaller government, lower taxes and education for our children. A signature accomplishment during my Freeholder term was the installation of the Comfort Women Memorial, adjacent to the courthouse in Hackensak, honoring the Korean women and others that were victims of sexual exploitation during WW II. In the private sector, I have achieved taxpayer cost savings of over $25 million for the U.S. Government through innovative management, energy and environmental practices, with the added benefit of creating many private sector jobs. Appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Energy to replicate cost savings and environmental excellence on a national scale. Former Chairman of the Board of the Heroes to Heroes Foundation serving our returning veterans who have served us with such great distinction and are suffering from PTSD. President of the Epiphany Parish Council, Finance Committee Chairman and Lector. President of the Cliffside Park Republican Club. I enjoy the opportunity of being a member of the Fort Lee Rotary doing great work for our community and its people. Former President of The Greenhouse Condominium Association Board in Cliffside Park, NJ. Spearheaded a corporate partnership, in conjunction with the Center for Missing and Exploited Children, that successfully reunited children with their parents. Successfully advocated for the elderly, blind, disabled and for those suffering from HIV-Aids. Former Vice President and board member of the Visiting Neighbors, a not-for-profit organization, providing volunteer services for seniors in need. Corporate Sponsor and volunteer for the U.S. Veteran Affairs Wheelchair Games. Honored as the Humanitarian of the Year by the Lisker Congregation Synagogue. Cliffside Park Town Council Candidate. Graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University with a BA in Business. Married with 5 children and 3 grandchildren.Recently Added
