John Burns is our Vice President of Corporate Development. Mr. Burns is responsible for the execution of our corporate development strategy. He also oversees our Asset Finance product line, as well as the Legal, Credit, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Procurement functions. Mr. Burns joined our former parent, Transamerica Corporation, in April 1996 as Director of Internal Audit and subsequently transferred to TAL International Corporation in April 1998 as Controller and later Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Transamerica Corporation, Mr. Burns spent 10 years with Ernst & Young LLP in their financial audit practice.
