Jim Karwisch (pronounced Carwish) is the founder of the JaCKPie Theatre Workshop at Relapse Theatre in Midtown Atlanta. He is currently a member of the JaCKPie house team Canvas All Stars and Guttersmack and is the coach for Babies mit Bearden and Einstein Meets Elvis. He is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a BFA in Theatre. He toured the US for three years as an actor and director before moving to Chicago to study long-form improvisation. In 2001 he moved to Atlanta and, together with Chris Pierce, started the two man show JaCKPie. In 2002 they became JaCKPie Productions and University and in 2005 were re-invented as the JaCKPie Theatre Workshop, where Jim currently teaches, coaches and plays.
