James is the owner and in-house producer at Toronto based recording studio, Euphonic Sound. Prior to opening the studio James co-founded the Canadian boutique pro audio company Origin Audio Electronics www.originaudioelectronics.com, where hand made recording devices are labored over with much love and care. In 2008, James created the independent record label, Broken Window Records, as a natural extension to Euphonic Sound. Also in 2008 James launched the Studio Manifesto blog with a mandate of offering useful advice to independent recording artists and producers. James is a musician, producer, arranger, and sound engineer with relentless passion for music and its production. Also, a singer/songwriter, James is working on his first full length release with yet to be named band, along with various other musical projects where James lends his voice, guitar, arranging chops, and production savvy. Always looking for talented recording artists to collaborate with and produce at Euphonic Sound, James works tirelessly to deliver the inspired production treatment of the music he helps shape.
