Dr. Manning provides training to professionals of multiple specialties and lay persons on a wide range of topics. He has presented at national, state and local mental health, child welfare and education conferences. He holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and is a licensed clinical psychologist in state of California. He has extensive experience working in government, non-profit community and mental health agencies, providing intensive case management services on behalf of youth in foster care and serving as the mental health liaison on a number of local and regional committees and taskforces. He has participated in developing and implementing innovative and community mental health programs. His experience also includes serving as an individual, family and group therapist, group home therapist and manager, clinical supervisor and psychiatric disability insurance case manager. He also wrote a chapter in the recently published book Darla Henry The -- Model A Practice Approach to Permanency and co-wrote Integrating Child Welfare and Mental Health Practices Actualizing Youth Permanency Using the -- Model American Humane Association Protecting Children Journal - June . He has also participated on a number of professional and conference panels. He is also a faculty member at the University of Redlands in the Graduate School of Education and Brandman University Department of Psychology.
