I've worked in the restaurant industry for the past twenty years... I started off working in the family ran bakery and bagel shop where I worked long hours and learned the business. Baking is my first passion... I then moved on and worked for the Scottsdale Princess Hotel and resort, In the food and beverage industry. I learned a lot here I started off working in the pastry shop then moved over to the butcher shop then banquets and last but not least the hotels five star restaurant La fontana... In 1996 I attended the Scottsdale Cutlery Institute Of America (S.C.I) where i studied the culinary arts... When I graduated school in 1997 I decided to open my own Italian restaurant and name it Uncle Sal's It became a prominent and well known Italian eatery... I am currently involved in two things that I truly believe in, the first one being Crust Restaurants I'm a part Owner and day to day working manger that is located in the Phoenix Convention Center...#2 is thegravanos.com building my own brand, my website, jarring and labeling my own products like my families marinara sauce, pesto sauce, ect ect. I plan to wright a cookbook I want to put my passion on paper and share it with you all....
