Garrick Schmitt is Managing Director, Experience Platforms, at Razorfish and is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of the agency's design and development services across its west coast clients. Based in San Francisco, Garrick leads a multi-disciplinary team of strategists, creative, interaction designers, engineers and program managers to drive the development of customer experiences for industry-leading clients such as Intel, Sony, and Microsoft, among others. In his-year tenure at the agency, Garrick has utilized his experience design background to create breakthrough digital strategies and experiences for clients diverse as Intel, PayPal, Sun Microsystems, Genentech, Cisco Systems, Williams-Sonoma, CBS, Yahoo, IngramMicro and ESPN. He has also created innovative internal programs for the agency, including the Razorfish IdeaLab a skunkworks RD effort that lead to early pilots around social networking, mobile advertising and photo sharing applications. Garrick is also a recognized thought leader in the industry.
