Eric Wight is the award-winning creator of the Frankie Pickle series, a chapter bookgraphic novel hybrid published by Simon Schuster. He has also worked as a writer, illustrator, art director, and animation director for such clientele as Warner Bros., The Walt Disney Company, Cartoon Network, HBO, Capitol Records, Mattel, Marvel Entertainment, and DC Comics. He has been profiled in USA Today, The New York Times, Time Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide, Spin, Wired, and many others. Wight was the recipient of the Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award for the comic book adaptation of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, which also garnered the coveted Eisner and Harvey awards for best anthology. The ghost artist for principal character Seth Cohen and creator of The Atomic County, his work was showcased on the Fox television show The O.C. and as merchandise for Lesportsac and Urban Outfitters. Wight also wrote and directed an Atomic County animated series available on Verizon Wireless and iTunes. Wights first original graphic novel, My Dead Girlfriend, debuted Valentines Day , and was nominated for Best Graphic Novel by the Young Adult Library Services Association.
