Dominick George "Don" Pardo (February 22, 1918 – August 18, 2014) was an American radio and television announcer, who was best known for his work on the long-running late night sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live.[1] He served as the announcer of Saturday Night Live from its inception in 1975 until his death in 2014 (with the exception of the 1981-82 season).
