Born 6/23/1961 to a Canadian mother & American Father.Childhood spent shuttling between rural Ontario & SE Michigan.After mother's death in early 1972, adolescence spent in boarding schools & in various relative's and family friends' care.College years having been interrupted by several bouts of viral Spinal Meningitis, achieved his BFA in Theater in 1991 but had begun working on the professional stage the previous year and became a member of AEA in Fall of '91.After several years of regional theater success, gave up career to become primary caregiver to elderly great-aunt he had been given guardianship of in 1988.Following the death of his great-aunt from complications of Alzheimer's Disease, Breast Cancer and Paranoid Schizophrenia in 1996, rather than resurrect his stage career in MI, moved to Seattle, WA.Despite being passionately in love with the geographical location of the Pacific Northwest, after ten years in which he had to resign his Equity membership in order to work often enough and found more success in feature film any way, moved to Los Angeles, CA.
