Business Owner, Entrepreneur, Social Media Advocate, Cruise & Vacation Specialist I've nearly always worked in the public's eye...no behind the scenes for this chica! No matter what my profession, I've always been in sales. It seems relationship building comes very naturally to me and I love to chit chat about nearly anything. I am genuinely interested in what others do and have to say. I never went to college, yet I earned various licenses and certificates in financial fields, my CDL (besides being an entrepreneur, truck driving is one of the COOLEST JOBS EVER!!) and a variety of travel industry certifications. I'm ALWAYS learning something new. I've been co-owner of The HodgePodgery, an ultra cool local indie arts shop for nearly 3 years, and now it's time to go back to earning an income. I took my love of travel, gift of gab, and insatiable appetite for learning new things and created Dawn's Escapades, Group Travel for a Social World. Now working as a Cruise & Travel Specialist for Expedia CSC Greenawalt , I work independently to grow our business here in Central PA. So far I have earned Expert Plus Status with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, I'm a Gold Shield Specialist w/ Norwegian Cruise Lines, I'm currently working on my 3rd Star level of Celebrity Cruise Line's 5 star academy as well as beginning my first level CLIA certification. When I decided to enter the travel industry I KNEW I wanted to work with groups. I absolutely love getting a bunch of people together to do something, and what better way to experience a trip than with a bunch of your friends, sharing stories of the adventure for years to come.
