As Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Corporate Services, Dave Harmon oversees many functions including: Human Resources, Real Estate, Business Services and Corporate Security. Dave oversees AOL’s global human resource strategic functions which include: talent management {development & retention}; organizational effectiveness & leadership development; workforce analytics; total rewards {compensation, benefits}; HR operations, systems & processes; employee relations; talent acquisition; and strategic business consulting. In addition, he manages the global activities related to the company's real estate portfolio, business services {travel, food services, etc.} and security fostering a productive, safe and flexible work environment supporting our global employee base. Collectively, his team is focused on increasing productivity, providing an environment to support our business needs while attracting and retaining the best talent. Previously, Harmon served as Senior Vice President of AOL’s HR Solution Center, responsible for domestic and international HR, talent acquisition, HR technologies, employee relations, global mobility & operations, immigration, compliance, payroll and the HR call center. Harmon joined AOL in 2003 as Vice President, Human Resources. Harmon has more than 17 years experience in the human resources field, with experience in corporate, international and field-based human resources. Before coming to AOL in 2003, Dave was Vice President, New Business Development, for Footstarworks, a division of Footstar, which followed an operational role managing e-commerce websites, store operations and corporate administrative functions. Harmon joined Footstar in 1998 as Vice President, Human Resources, with responsibility for more than 10,000 employees and more than 4,000 locations. He held numerous executive and managerial Human Resource positions of increasing responsibility at Footstar, Just for Feet, Pepsi-Cola and Cooper Industries. Harmon has a B.A. in Marketing and Psychology from Skidmore College, and an MBA from Clarkson University. He has an additional Masters of Operations Management and Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
