David Z. Beitz is the Director of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at Edens & Avant. David’s primary responsibility is leveraging GIS in the acquisition, development, disposition, and leasing activities of the company. Edens & Avant uses GIS to analyze various markets and to present opportunities to retailers for leasing and development transactions. David’s role includes the planning, development, and distribution of Edens & Avant’s spatial data assets including demographics. Having developed innovative systems (some proprietary) for the use of GIS in Real Estate, David is always looking for new ways to leverage spatial technology in the day to day operations of the company.
