I lead social media strategy at the National Wildlife Federation. I'm passionate about technology and wildlife and I'm constantly working to find ways to help nature through available technology to advance science and our mission. I was an early adopter of using social media to achieve our mission and love working with people to figure out how to help enjoy and protect this world. I love to speak and I've presented at a number of conferences around the country. Some of the tech conferences include South by Southwest (SXSW), Nonprofit Technology Conference, Netroots Nation, Blogworld, eMetrics Summit, and Blackbaud Nonprofit conferences. I've also conducted social media webinars for Chronicle of Philanthropy, NTEN, Bulldog Reporter, PR News, Bizsummit, TechSoup and Fundraising Success Magazine. Additionally, I've been interviewed about social media by The New York Times, USA Today, The Nonprofit Times, Fast Company, Washington Post, GreenTalk Radio, Fundraising Success Magazine, Beth's Blog and several other popular blogs. I graduated from Christopher Newport University with a B.A. in Technical Writing with minors in Biology and Communications.
