I am currently a newsroom assistant at KTXL Fox40 News, which is a first-rate TV station in a top-20 media market. Previously, I was a freelance video journalist at the Sacramento Bee and an intern at the Roseville Press Tribune. I was a Kid Reporter at Scholastic Kids Press Corps from November 2008 to March 2010. While being a Kid Reporter, I traveled to the 2010 Winter Olympics as the only Scholastic reporter. In Vancouver, I packaged 20 stories in a period of 5 days. I have reported on breaking news situations such as the nationally recognized Galleria mall fire in October 2010.
