For 2 years prior to joining the Southeastern New England field team, I provided technical support as an Applications Engineer for systems featuring NI hardware and software to customers representing various industries and technology spaces. I also had the opportunity to serve as a Team Leader of 14 engineers in the Engineering Leadership Program. Currently, as a Field Sales Engineer, my daily activities include: • Consulting with our customers to provide automated test and control solutions, typically featuring NI COTS software and hardware • Helping customers make informed decisions including justifying investment in high-performance systems, build vs. buy decisions for embedded applications, developing internal core competency and best practices through training and certification • Contract negotiation involving appropriate pricing, delivery schedules, and support and services such as warranty, parts availability, calibration, and access to NI consulting services • Connecting customers with engineering resources, including local NI Alliance Partners, NI Systems Engineers, and other technical experts and reference collateral • Presenting customized product information sessions to developers interested in understanding NI technology, product training paths, and organizational challenges for addressing development needs • Providing post-sales support to ensure our customers have successful and enjoyable experiences with our technology Whether you are an existing customer or investigating a potential technology partnership with NI, please feel free to get in touch for a free consultation.
