After years as a Sales Manager and Director of Sales in the Special EventCatering industry in New York South Florida, Dan Perez pursued his passion in video production and started Dan's Video Creations in the Spring of . Since then, Dan has produced videos for Miami Children's Hospital, Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, National Kidney Foundation of Florida, Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley Davidson and United Way of Miami-Dade (to name a few). In early , Dan completed his first documentary film, "The Motivator The Business of Selling Hope" which featured international Motivational Speaker, Victor Antonio. The film went on to win the "Director's Choice" Award at the Rincon International Film festival. Dan launched 'Dan Perez Films' later that year. Dan completed his second film, "P.A.T.H." (which stands for Preserving, Archiving and Teaching Hip-Hop History) in . The film documents the P.A.T.H. Hip-Hop Academy, the first ever summer camp of it's kind in Miami. The film premiered at the Chicago International Hip Hop Film Festival and won the "Best Florida Film" award at the Sunscreen Film Festival. The award, presented to Dan by John Travolta himself, was the top prize of the festival. Dan's latest film, "V.A.C.C. Camp Camp Can-Do", documents the th anniversary of the V.A.C.C. Camp, a free week-long overnight camp hosted by Miami Children's Hospital for ventilation assisted children. The film premiered at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival and took home the rd place prize in the Feature Documentary category at the ReelHeART International Film Festival.
