My experience with web design began in the s, when the New York Institute for Special Education, a school I attended, began to teach students how to build web pages using HTML. My fascination with web site design continued through my four years at SUNY Purchase College, where I studied Studio Composition. Today, I am the webmaster for Allison Mervis, a singer in California, an MaLyn, a music duo in New York City. Unlike some of my competitors, I'm a computer user who happens to be visually impaired. This enables me to build web sites with screen reader users in mind. As for audio production, Im a production assistant for the Embrace Your Vision Internet radio show, hosted by Judy Redlich. In addition to that, I am the sound editor for the Rock Star Life Lessons podcast, hosted and produced by Carla Lynn Hall. While Im on the subject of podcasting, I think I started listening to podcasts during my third year at Purchase. I enjoyed then, and I enjoy now, the ability to listen to content when its convenient for me. I enjoy listening to music, composing music, and using social media sites such as Twitter and Linked In. On the music composition side of things, My main focus is on instrumental music, however, I welcome opportunities to work with vocalists.
