After years of searching, I finally have found my place in ministry. In July of , I took a one-year interim position as chaplain at a women's prison. At the end of the year, when the regular chaplain returned from sabbatical, they decided to keep me also. We currently house about inmates, but we will have over in a couple of years. It is a difficult job, but the most rewarding thing I have ever done.I also am married to Danny Dalton. We met at Ridgecrest Conference Center in , and he is still on staff there today. We have a -year-old daughter Johanna who is the most brilliant human being I ever met. She is an up and coming jewelry maker, and I hope to soon have pictures of her work available. We have a mutt named Princess who rules the roost.Danny and I are charter members of The Chapel Door (www.thechapeldoor.net) in Fairview, NC.
