Michael Bennett CHRP Michael is a Human Resources Professional with over 20 years of experience as a recruiter, training specialist, generalist, leader and consultant. Before starting in the HR consulting and outsourcing industry in 2004, his corporate HR career spanned a variety of sectors, including financial services, industrial product sales and supply chain, manufacturing, education and executive search. Michael is a graduate of Sheridan College's Human Resources Management Program, with which he maintains strong ties as a part-time instructor and a member of the Program Advisory Committee. He is also a former Director and President of the Sheridan Alumni Association. In 2010, Michael completed a 5 year commitment on the Executive of the Halton Chapter of the Human Resources Professionals Association, including a two-year term as President. 2010 also marked the completion of two terms (six years) as a Citizen Representative on the Halton Diversity Advisory Committee, which supports Halton Regional Government with expertise and input on matters of diversity within Halton Region. In addition, he provides occasional support on a voluntary basis to the Upper Credit Humane Society and the Georgetown Bread Basket food bank when needed in addition to supporting a number of local and national charities.
