The first camera I used was a Kodak Brownie when I was in elementary school. I've been hooked on photography ever since. What has followed is a parade of cameras and an on-againoff-again love affair with photography. Now it is on again. My first major purchase after I started working was a Mamiya mm with a fixed lens. Since then, there were a couple of versions of Nikkormats - the first one a much abused second-hand FT and then a brand new FTn, a borrowed Linhof Technika X , a Minox GL - the smallest full-size mm camera. In an attempt to lighten my camera bag, there was a Nikon Zoom point and shoot followed by a Nikon P, my first digital camera. After a little frustration with the lack of control that the point and shoot cameras were giving me, I needed to make a move to a DSLR. As a long time Nikon shooter, I indulged my passion and bought a D as a birthday present from me. Coming from a fully manual film camera background, the learning curve seemed fairly steep when I first picked up the manual for the D.
