I am currently a 3D web designer working for a large 3D gaming company in the U.K. and was wondering what software or engine is being used to make these fast 3D computer games that Electronic Arts produce that are capable of rendering huge forests and water effects in seconds (such as in the game, Crysis) and also what software was used to make the AI.
I am my own game developer who uses the Lingo language in Macromedia Director MX and I do a little bit of everything when it comes to writing games with no team of people to work with. Also, I was wondering what programming language is used to write these games and how much would everything cost all together? Thank you.
