I am a data-minded, tech-savvy, improvement minded professional building a foundation in a career in quality. I am currently a member of the Quality Team at Kirby Risk Service Center. Kirby Risk is an ISOTS certified second-tier supplier of wiring harnesses to Caterpillar. I have a niche in our team for accessing and managing information as well as creating systems to track internal processes. In order to improve our collaboration as a team, I initiated an effort to drive our processes to a team Sharepoint portal, further increasing our capability for collaboration. From when I started as a member of the quality team, it was my goal to increase our information agility something I am still striving towards. I was selected to join a wave of Six Sigma training, and I managed a project team of production associates as a Black Belt in training. I led team meetings, planned data collection, analyzed data, studied process quality, and enacted a change management strategy for improving the quality of key processes in a production group. Earlier in my career, I managed a new restaurant, helped to establish a brand, increased efficiency of operations, and established standards in customer service, employee training and food preparation. I also have experience with leadership in a non profit setting. I have planned outreach events, led teams on service projects, managed finances for an week summer program with attendees, created schedules, and helped to establish and communicate vision and strategies as a member of the leadership team.
