Bob Simpson is an entrepreneur and builder. For most of his career, he was in the Canadian financial services industry as a financial advisor for one of the largest bank-owned firms, as an investment counselor and portfolio manager for a publicly traded insurance holding company and as Senior Vice President National Sales Development for the largest private Canadian investment dealer. In 1998, Bob began a coaching business and facilitated two of the most effective programs in the world. He worked as a coach with small business owners utilizing the E-Myth Mastery program, a program developed by Michael Gerber, author of the best-selling business book - The E-Myth Revisited. He also facilitated workshops using the Who Moved My Cheese? program developed by Dr. Spencer Johnson. Although Synchronicity has worked with small business owners, our focus has been on working with financial advisors, financial planners and wealth managers. Synchronicity is viewed as a financial services thought-leader and has developed and delivered programs for large financial services corporations. In 2011, Bob led the development of â€œClient Roadmapâ€ a cloud-based Client Project Management solution to enable financial advisors to build secure â€œpersonal Financial Websitesâ€ and better manage client milestones and tasks. To further enhance the platforms of Synchronicity, Bob became a Mental Game Certified Professional (MGCP). MGCP is a sports psychology program that teaches individuals to work with athletes to improve performance. In Bobâ€™s view, financial advisors are similar to athletes in that they have to deal with confidence, composure, comfort zone and other mental game issues. Bob is developing Mental Game programs that can help advisors, who participate in sports to improve performance in both areas. Programs will be launch in early 2012.
