I am the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Mercer Capital. I am also a member of the firms board of directors, the only non-fee earner on the board. During my time with the firm, it has grown from two people (the CEO and myself) to one of the most respected firms in the business valuation profession. I am responsible for the firm's marketing strategy and for overseeing all marketing and development functions of the firm, including corporate communications, web site development, speaking engagements, product development, print newsletters, e-newsletters, direct marketing, web and live seminars, social media, and business development, among others. In addition to my marketing responsibilities, I led the firm in the development of a strategic plan in and lead other special project initiatives. I publish and speak frequently on the topic of professional services marketing and leadership, with a specialty in firms providing business valuation services. I am a regular contributor to the American Society of Appraisers' "Business Valuation E-Letter" as well as other business valuation publications.
