This includes bookkeeping and payroll, board management and meeting logistics, budget preparation and management and administrative duties (among many others). It's not that you don't WANT to do it - you just don't have the time. Between being a motivating factor for the organization and focusing on the mission - there just aren't enough hours in the day. This results in grant opportunities being missed - last minute preparations for meetings and presentations - bills paid beyond the due dates - late fees being assessed and opportunities being missed.
