I like music, here is what I like: MUSIC is and always has been my number one passion in life. From a very young age I was exposed to so many different types of music because of my parents. My parents have very differeing tastes as far as music is concerned so because of that it gave me such a strong foundation to build on as a young child. Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin and that was my mother's influence and from my father it was anything classic rock, Steppenwolf, Deep Purple. Foghat, Lynard Skynard, The Beatles and also contemporary jazz. I remember going to numerous jazz concerts with my dad everbody from Dave Koz to The Rippingtons to Boney James to Spyra Gyra to Kenny G(yes its true). So because of these influences at such a young age I have always been very involved in the world of music. So much that I have amassed a cd collection of over 850 cds. My tastes span the gammot, everybody from Miles Davis to John Coltrane to Ani DiFranco to Tori Amos to Johnny Cash to Hank Williams, Sr. to Dolly Parton to Squarepusher to Laurie Geltman to Jess Klein to Grateful Dead to Phish, Widespread Panic.
