My story began 4 ½ years ago when I got my first real job working at a popular car rental chain. After the first week of working there, I knew I wasnt cut out to work for someone.So, I started researching and pursuing other means to make income on my own so that I could be in control of my time. After the first week, I was tired of waking up the same time everyday to report to work. I was tired of being told when to get hungry, when not to be hungry, and when I could leave.After much searching and researching, I stumbled upon the concept of Affiliate Marketing. So I signed up for a couple of things and began trying to promote them the best way I could.I got no results whatsoever!I took a step back and began to evaluate whether I should continue or go back to the drawing board. So, I loaded up on a bunch of informational products, researched a couple of gurus, and linked up with a couple of mentors.The resultI sold over $11,000 in product in a week and established business relations and a customer base worldwide!All was well until the next month came. I sold less than a third of what I did the month before in product. I realized I needed to add a steady aspect to my business. Thats when the concept of network marketing was introduced to me. I was sold on it almost immediately.I came in the business with a tremendous amount of momentum which slowed and slowed over time because of lack of results. After drilling through my list, asking referrals, meetings, meetings, and oh yeah, more meetings, I threw network marketing on the back burner.I tried to replace it with day trading currencies, but it had the same pitfall of being inconsistent. My best week I made just under $16,000 in profit which was followed by weeks of nowhere near that.Then came the epiphany!Why dont I use the list of customers to promote my network marketing to who already know and trust me? (There was much researching and studying done to attain this knowledge, but to keep the story short, Ill leave that part out.)So thats what I started doing which is the actual definition of network marketing which is first networking (building relationships) and then marketing (finding out what those people want and giving it to them).I just want to encourage all of the 97% of network marketers out there who are unsuccessful, there is a better way. I also want to encourage those who are online marketing and not getting the results you were expecting, there is a science to doing this.Please allow me to pass some of the tremendous value that I have accumulated over the years to you to save you time and resources.Keep your dreams and your goals big.
