I work in direct response marketing - specifically email - at the home office for Anthropologie, one of the brands housed under Urban Outfitters, Inc. I am a creative problem solver. I am fascinated with art, commerce, and how people choose to find out information. Several years ago, while building costumes for Shakespeare production, I noticed a severe disconnect between the way the show was being staged and how it was being marketed to audiences. This experience motivated me to study arts marketing in graduate school. I used email to market Broadway and Off-Broadway theatre and then I wanted to learn about online marketing, email, and new media. I took advantage of an opportunity to work at The New York Times to gain a deep knowledge base in online advertising and publishing. I've now combined my love of textiles, design, and the digital space at Anthropologie. I have a range of skills related to marketing, the web, and the arts. I get stuff done.
