Since graduating Cum Laude from NIU's Interactive Marketing Program in , I have greatly enjoyed working in Digital Marketing - more specifically the emerging Social Media Industry. At Tilbury and The Plum Tree Group, I worked to help countless companies understand, create and maintain unique Social Media Marketing Strategies through engaging content, a custom presence, promotional apps, Facebook eCommerce and more. Although my experience with a wide variety of companies was enlightening, I wanted to experience working with of my focus on one brand. I began my career at Sears Holdings on SHC's Digital Marketing Team as a Social Media Community Manager. In this role I managed both the Sears and Kmart Facebook Twitter communities on a daily basis. During my time as a moderator at Sears, I found that I had a strong interest in the strategy behind the content imagery we posted on Social Media. I showed successful Social Media Editorial planning skills over time and transitioned into the role of Social Media Content Strategist as a Copywriter in the Fall of . In my most recent position at Sears Holdings as the Senior Social Media CopywriterContent Strategist, I work with various business units throughout the company to craft unique and engaging copy for the Sears, Kmart ShopYourWay Rewards social platforms, including our Blogger Outreach Network. A few of my favorite projects have been writing copy for celebrity spokespeople Ty Pennington, Adam Levine Nicki Minaj. In addition to creating copy, I manage custom Social Media imagery, contribute to developing projects, strategize on emerging Social Media channels and plan editorial calendars on a daily basis.
