For more than years, I have been developing my passions for politics and media through investigative reports, legislative research and outreach projects. As an online media entrepreneur, I manage a website for original articles about political corruption. Formerly the Chicago Politics Examiner for Examiner.com, I have researched and written articles about local and state politics since . I began my public affairs career on Capitol Hill, where I supervised an intern program for U.S. Senator Joseph Biden and drafted letters about immigration for U.S. Representative Romano Mazzoli. After Congressman Mazzoli's retirement, I worked at direct service organizations for immigrants and refugees to learn more about the political and socioeconomic conditions which forced the clients to leave their native countries. Upon returning to my legislative roots, I lobbied state legislators to urge their support for earned income tax credit and welfare-to-work programs.
