Michael Hussey – Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Michael Hussey is a technology entrepreneur who has created some of the most popular websites and online trends. He first started managing web communities ten years ago at the University of Maine, where he helped design, develop, and launch SoccerSpot.com, one of the very first electronic magazines. Michael has founded RateMyTeachers.com and RateMyProfessors.com, two of the most popular education websites on the web, and is often credited as the original inventor of online rating and opinion websites, since the debut of RateMyFace.com in 1999. To date, millions of people have visited and used the “RateMy” sites he has created. RateMyProfessors and RateMyTeachers have recently tendered offers from major media companies. Hussey has been featured in hundreds of media reports, including every top-ten circulated newspaper, CNN, Fox News, Esther Dyson’s Report 1.0, and the BBC.

Pavel Baranov – Chief Information Officer

Pavel holds a master’s degree in Telecommunications and Networks from New York Polytechnic Institute and has six years of working experience in Internet technologies. He has worked with PeekYou since 2007 and is listed on the company's patent documents.

Venky Someswaran – Chief Technology Officer

Venky brings more than 13 years of technology industry experience to PeekYou, both at the startup and enterprise level. Before accepting the CTO role with PeekYou, he served in various engineering and technology management roles at Red Hat, AOL, CustomInk, and Ciena. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with an MSc in computer science.

Tom Lynch - Chief Financial Officer

Tom brings a web-centric analytical background and approach developed over nine years working at AOL. During his tenure at AOL, he spent time in both the finance organization and product teams developing expertise in financial modeling and forecasting, business case development, and analytics. Prior to AOL, Tom spent five years in Moscow with a Boston based consumer goods exporter working to set up distributorships throughout Russia for many marque brands such as Revlon®, Campbell's Soup and Tabasco. Tom has an MBA from Georgetown University with a concentration in finance and is a proud Richmond Spider.

Raj S. Ajrawat – General Manager of PeekYou.com

Raj initially worked with PeekYou in 2006 to develop and design the first version of the www.peekyou.com user interface and layout. Since then, he has worked for J.P. Morgan as a Banking Analyst in the Mid-Corporate Bank, syndicating credit deals for technology companies. He also worked for EXIGIS, LLC, a small risk management technology company, as an Account Manager and Associate of Business Development, growing new business and working with clients to develop customized technology solutions while managing print media, online marketing, and advertising. He recently rejoined PeekYou as the General Manager of www.peekyou.com, to develop existing relationships with partners, drive user adoption, increase traffic and develop brand goodwill. He studied Economic Policy with a minor in East Asian History at New York University’s College of Arts & Science. Raj enjoys sailing, backpacking, traveling and soccer.

Christopher Klipple – Vice President, Operations

Chris is an entrepreneurial-minded marketing professional and adept communicator with 20 years of experience. He’s a proven executer of hard-hitting strategic marketing programs, from conception to completion. Prior to joining PeekYou, Chris worked for Rosetta Stone—the No.1 language learning software company in the world. While at Rosetta Stone, Chris managed all the online SEM marketing acquisition programs. Before joining Rosetta Stone, Chris was a senior member of the AOL Renewal and Payment Marketing team. Through his use of test-and-control tactics, he was able to improve the response, conversion, and cost efficiency of the programs. Chris is passionate about the online space and has a proven track record of achieving results through solid marketing skills and direct marketing tactics.

Eray Cetiner – Lead Developer, International

Eray has worked in web development since 2006. He specializes in multi-level programming, data mining and organization, as well as developing mobile applications for PeekYou. He is a 2008 graduate of SUNY Binghamton and was born and raised in Canakkale, Turkey.

Oleg Borkov – Lead Developer

Oleg has been working with PeekYou since the summer of 2007. He has a degree in Information Systems and Technologies, from Saint-Petersburg State University of Information Technologies Mechanics and Optics, in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. He first started programming in BASIC at the age of 11, moving on to Pascal by 13, with Delphi, OpenGL, C++, DirectX, and PHP all soon thereafter joining his repertoire.

Ronn Tan - Developer

Ronn is a developer for PeekYou and has worked with the company since 2008. He focuses on developing new applications and implementing SEO strategies. He lives in Elmhurst, New York and was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. Also a freelance photographer, Ronn attends CUNY York College, from which he is graduating with a degree in Computer Science in 2011.

Mikhail Dovgilev - Developer

Mikhail graduated with a degree in information Systems and Technologies, from Saint-Petersburg State University of Information Technologies Mechanics and Optics, in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. He has been working for PeekYou since the spring of 2011.

Amauris de Jesus - Web Development Intern

Amauris is born and raised in NY. He currently works with PeekYou as a web development intern. He is currently enrolled for his bachelors degree in CUNY City college of New York,and is expected to graduate soon. He loves watching movies,playing video games and buying new tech.

Ankit Patel - Web Development Intern

Ankit is a web development intern for PeekYou and has worked with the company since March 2011. Currently he is enrolled in CUNY City College Of New York finishing up his bachelors in Computer Science with Math minor by 2012. He is passionate about programming and likes to do problem solving, algorithm analysis and hacking .With his experience in the world of programming, Ankit firmly believes that "Languages are part of life, learn the language which connects the world because with logic we solve and with intuition we discover"
