I consider myself a mix of analytical and 'big picture' thinking. Kind of like a nice Bordeaux blend. Working in Supply Chain Sales in the steel industry.... taught me how to defend my views with data, analyze problems from a different angle (usually as a result of saying, "I will figure it out"), and understand the different goals of cross-functional teams. I began to specialize in streamlining processes, merging departments together, and negotiations. I entered into Supply Chain as an intern, and years later left as a senior manager in Strategic Planning with my MBA. Coaching MBA students managing employer relationships... refined my ability to communicate with different audiences and deliver presentations. I am most proud of implementing a new online platform to manage statistics and determine trends, available to both administration and students. Major career successes - promotions in years - Completing my MBA part-time while working full-time - Part of a team to improve production by - Initiated slab sale program to become one of the preferred vendors - Managing multiple, cross-functional teams in sales, strategic planning, and supply chain I like to make things pretty, especially presentations. Even better, I like to simplify them. I love data, and trying to determine patterns and stories from them, especially when it involves sports. I enjoy change and am never complacent. I am always envisioning ways to improve something. On paper I'm trained in business finance, but I've always been drawn to design, marketing, sports, and technology.
