I am a specialist in the art of living and loving with meaning, heart, and vitality. It is an honor to spend my life supporting people to connect, grow and thrive, through PSYCHOTHERAPY and CEREMONY MAKING. I come to the fields of therapy and ceremony through a sincere desire for peace, in the middle of feeling divided. In the year 2000, there I was: a university graduate, with a theatre degree in hand, and a big question mark about what to do next. Because I always assumed certain life paths were exclusive of each other, I felt torn between becoming successful and following my heart; the artistic and the pragmatic; the spiritual and the mundane; caring for others and caring for myself; grieving loss and "moving forward"; focusing on my business or my family. The list went on. This led me to a dedicated study of the heart, mind, body and soul, through becoming a Certified Yoga Teacher, Shamanic Ceremonial Guide and Mesa Carrier, Holistic Health Consultant, Transpersonal Psychology practitioner, and a Certified Modern Celebrant. Through this intense personal and professional development ~ through applying the therapeutic modalities as well as the beauty of ritual to my own life ~ what has emerged is the experience that the juice of life does not exist in the world of duality, of black and white, of this OR that. It exists in the sacred space between. And I learned something else: without my particular struggles, I never would have had the opportunity to honestly face myself and, in turn, face the important relationships in my life with the reverence and respect they deserve. Whether clients are interested in individual, couples therapy, or personalized, uniquely crafted ceremony, I operate from a compassionate belief in the potential of the human spirit. Over and over again, I have witnessed clients, through therapy or through ceremony, experience the profound richness of their existence, creating the foundation for a deeply fulfilling life.
