I am a student at the University of Illinois College of Law, planning to practice in intellectual property law upon graduation. I am a registered patent agent (Reg. No. 65,066). I spent the summer of 2011 working as a summer associate at Knobbe Martens and Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto, two IP specialty firms. This year in law school I am the Internet Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review. I have been a teaching assistant for Legal Writing & Analysis (a 1L course), and have taken a number of intensive, practical courses on patent prosecution and patent litigation. I have a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. As a student at Illinois, I researched improved methods of behavioral circuit synthesis, taking into account process variation, power, and floorplanning information. My thesis focused on these topics. My advisor was Deming Chen in the Coordinated Science Laboratory. Prior to starting law school I worked as an engineer at Jazz Semiconductor (now TowerJazz) in the Device Modeling & Support group. At Jazz I helped develop methods for evaluating foundry device models and outputs.
