Ajit Jaokar, co-author of the book Mobile Web 2.0, is also a member of the web2.0 workgroup. He currently plays an advisory role to a number of mobile start-ups in the UK and Scandinavia, and works with the government and trade missions of a number of countries including South Korea and Ireland. Ajit chairs Oxford Universitys Next-Generation Mobile Applications panel. He is the founder and CEO of a publishing company - Futuretext - and spoke recently at the Stanford Universitys Digital Vision program. He also featured recently on CNN money. Ajit lives in London, UK, but has three nationalities (British, Indian and New Zealander) and is proud of all three. He writes most of his books to the background of music from his favourite band ZZ Top and other guitar bands and believes in the philosophy of Ayn Rand.
