I'm a thinker. And a talker. And a listener. I have opinions, but I think I ask a lot of questions too. For me the environment is window dressing - the real core part of what life is about (for me) is learning and experiencing new things. Challenges are great, and trying to figure out what a person is about is one of the most amazing things I think we can do. (Not to be confused with TELLING a person what they are about - who needs that.) I've had a close group of friends that I'm recently moved on from (sure, ask if you're interested), and am not always the easiest nut to crack. But I hope that I seem compassionate, intelligent, interested AND interesting. I like things like mythological, archetypal, poetic in the REAL sense - and being the conduit for being a new variation on those themes. The world is an amazing thing, and there is nothing like seeing the world WITH someone who "gets it". I can also be a pain in the ass (as most friends, past and present can attest). I just want to be fair to anyone who reads this - I can be sarcastic, caustic, cynical and I do like to debate. But I I am any of these things, it's usually to engender the positive - getting things out in the open, so we can get to the core. Honesty, communication - these are the things that every relationship has to be based on. I know things like physical attraction, ambition, etc all make a difference, if we find that other, we will. Otherwise, isn't it really great to be able to just learn about others, to find possible friends, and to just continue to live, in the immortal words of Robin Williams (quoting someone else) in Dead Poet's Society - Carpe Diem - "Seize the Day!" (And yes, I am a contradiction in terms, because I am quoting a MOVIE that says seize the day, but am not nearly as out there as I should be ;).
