Dr. Refsland is published in MIT, IEEE and Computer Society journals, books and publications on subjects including virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial life, mobile augmented reality and virtual-geo story making. He has a particular interest in strategic positioning and visioneering, research and application development, branding and ID development and execution, large complex project design and innovation. Dr. Refsland received a B.A. from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the Virtual Systems Laboratory at Gifu University, Japan.
