Mr. Crowdis founded Think Energy, Inc. in 2000, building on years of experience in the energy and environmental sectors. In addition to his leadership responsibilities for Think Energy, within the team Mark provides significant expertise on the electrical energy industry, having successfully developed and managed new portfolios of renewable energy products. Mr. Crowdis has direct insight on the retail and wholesale electricity markets and leverages that knowledge when helping clients define, acquire and implement renewable energy systems. Mark is a creative problem solver and is adept at corporate collaborations and negotiations. Mark is a true entrepreneurial spirit, having started his first business before he even graduated college. Some of Mark’s accomplishments include: optimizing on-site renewable energy system design and aggressively negotiating contracts that resulted in saving one of Think Energy’s clients nearly $6.1M over 20 years; guiding the nation’s largest school system in developing a cost effective plan for minimizing their carbon footprint; helping a new renewable energy technology company; successfully launching a green power program for a utility that rapidly exceeded all sales targets, and forming the largest US renewable energy aggregation purchase program. Mr. Crowdis holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from John Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of California at Davis.
